Make Relationships, Not Things


Last week we were inspired by an article that highlighted a powerful call to action for brand building: Make relationships, not things. The author, Steve Bryant, discusses vehicles for growing long-lasting trust. He highlights that relationships take a lot of work, and those built with customers are primarily a factor of how much time is being invested.

As we celebrate Thanksgiving/Turkey-Day this week with friends and family, another stakeholder to think about is your customers. They may not be invited to the literal dinner table, but the question is why do you care about the people you’re creating the content for? What makes them special? What kind of relationship do you want to have?
