The Press Café pays tribute to its roots as home to Island Press, Wash U’s art school print studio, by carrying forward a spirit of creativity and community. Nestled alongside TechArtista’s coworking hub, the café was designed as a welcoming gathering place, with relaxed seating and leafy courtyards perfect for lingering conversations or quiet focus.

As a multi-roaster café, The Press features a rotating lineup of some of the most sought-after coffee brands from around the world, alongside standout local roasters. Light fare like gourmet toasts, bagels, and pastries round out the menu, making it a destination not just for great coffee, but for connection, culture, and daily ritual.
